WORKSHOPS

Our workshops introduce young people to the basic ideas of leadership and volunteerism. Our curriculum is overseen and created by an academic, Dr Jamie Farrington, who has experience working with young people in partnership with UNESCO. The programme is a more ‘bitesize’ introduction to the concepts HOBY UK teaches. The curriculum can be adapted to fit school needs.

The workshops typically last between 4 and 5 hours, but changes can be made to accommodate individual school needs. They are overseen by our experienced facilitators, with help from school staff for individual group work. We will also recruit an external speaker, local to the school or organisation the workshop is being organised in, to discuss key themes of leadership and community.
